Austin Catholic Academy offers a rigorous college preparatory academic program. The well-rounded curriculum will teach students how to think, with emphasis on verbal and oral expression, as well as instruction in literature, science, mathematics, social studies, foreign language and theology.

Sophomore Year

  • Religion II (Augustinian Life, Catholic Morality, Sacred Scripture)
  • English II (Composition, Literature)
  • Math (Plane Geometry or Algebra II and Trigonometry
  • Science (Physics)
  • Social Studies (World History and Geography)
  • Foreign Language (Latin II or Spanish II)
  • Elective (Studio Art I, Music Appreciation – one semester each)

Junior Year

  • Religion III (Confessions of St. Augustine, Vocation, Social Justice)
  • English III (Writing, Literature)
  • Math (Algebra II, or Pre-Calculus and Basic Calculus)
  • Science (Chemistry)
  • Social Studies (Civics – one semester, Economics – one semester)
  • Foreign Language (Latin III, Spanish III, Elective – Advanced Computer Applications)
  • Elective (Drama I, Music I, Speech – one semester classes)
  • Health and Physical Education (one semester class, required)

Senior Year

  • Religion (History of O.S.A., Church History, Liturgy and Prayer)
