Why Austin Catholic Academy?
Austin Catholic Academy provides a quality Catholic education in one of Michigan’s fastest growing areas. It’s the Journey of a Lifetime that includes a commitment to develop the whole student into an adult who will use knowledge, skills and spiritual values to serve the community for the rest of his or her life.
Austin is more than just a school; it is a preparation for life.
The Catholic Faith
Created under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Detroit and sponsored by four local parishes (St. Isidore, St. John Vianney, St. Lawrence and St. Therese of Lisieux), Austin Catholic Academy is above all Catholic. Guided by the teachings of St. Augustine and the educational commitment of the Augustinian Order, Austin will help its students strengthen their faith and help them put it to use in our highly secular world.
Academics
Austin provides a rigorous and well-rounded college preparatory curriculum. Four years of English, mathematics, science, social studies and theology are required, along with two years of a foreign language (a third and fourth year are also offered) and numerous electives in music and art. All students are required to have a laptop computer.
Passion
Austin Catholic Academy was born out of a passion for Catholic education. Austin invites students to become part of that passion, on the ground floor of an exciting educational adventure, and part of a lifelong commitment to service to the community.
Co-Educational
Austin Catholic Academy will teach young men and women, with every effort made to enroll an approximately equal number of each.
