Austin Catholic Academy Mission Statement

Austin Catholic Academy was founded to provide quality Catholic secondary education for the youth of the Church in north Macomb County. The school was entrusted to the Midwest Province of the U.S. Augustinians so that Austin would be given life, character and direction through the charism and unique educational program of the Augustinians. Thus Austin Catholic Academy provides secondary education in a closely-knit Christian community shaped according to the philosophical, theological and educational principles of St. Augustine and the Augustinian Order.

An Austin education is both academic and formational at the deepest levels. The school is co-educational and college preparatory. It assists students to learn and mature as Catholics in every aspect of their being: religious, academic, social, psychological, and physical. Ultimately it assists students to grow in their communion with God and with one another to form true and vibrant members of the Church of the next generation.
